Albino Catfish
Albino Catfish play shows in Hollywood. Hollywood, California. I loathe Hollywood - and I imagine that during Albino Catfish's set, all the men are drinking martinis (shaken!) and smoking expensive cigars.
Beside the fact they play in Hollywood, you should know that the band formed in 2002. Heavy influences reminiscent of the Pixies, the Smiths and the Adicts. Brian sings and plays guitar. Carlos plays lead guitar. Bobby plays bass and mr. shakey. Jose plays drums.
At first listen, I was startled like a little school girl. With lyrics like "Don't be afraid, I'm not going to hurt you / I just want to touch you - your ice cream skin" paranoia set in - what exactly is Albino Catfish going to sing about? What exactly are those sick perverts in Hollywood up to now? But the rich bass lines and strong melodic riffs (oh and I kid, I love your lyrics) definitely put me in the mood for some sweet, sweet (legal-age) lovin'.
