I Spit on Your Grave
Now that summer is basically over we decided to get digital cable with an insane amount of movie channels.
Last night I saw one of my favorite revenge films of all time, "I Spit on Your Grave" (trailer), staring Camille Keaton. The first half of the movie is the equivalent to a snuff film where the viewer is forced to watch Keaton get repeatedly sexually assaulted by three men. It ends with Keaton getting back at her attackers, in equally graphical and squirmish ways.
Film critic Roger Ebert wrote that this was the worst film he had ever seen, referring to it as "a vile bag of garbage...without a shred of artistic distinction," adding that "Attending it was one of the most depressing experiences of my life."
