Troughout the eighties, Snowy Red lead the Belgian electronic scene becoming a master in minimal wave and well-known through the Flexi pop scene. Snowy Red was one of the first "New Beat" artists releasing albums through the Antler-Subway label. Many Europeans considered New Beat as a forerunner of Euro House.
